USB-kon - eight digital inputs for the USB bus
The next module for the USB-kon module series is an input module with eight galvanically separated input chanels. Only a free USB connection is necessary to use this system. The USB-kon series was developed especially to be used on DIN rails. All inputs can be connected via pluggable screw terminals.

For thirty years we work on serving your needs as good as possible. Several product groups were acompanied, from single purpose ISA-cards through PCI-cards and several controller boards, to USB-devices and soon also ethernet-devices. We always work on the improvement of the existing products as well as on the development of new products and want to legitimate your confidence now and in future.
USB-KON - a new controller series for the USB bus
The USB-kon module series is a decentralized I/O-system for control applications with the USB bus. To use the system there is only a free USB plug necessary. More than one modules can be used in parallel, depending on the number of available USB plugs. By using a hub it is possible to use more modules.
The USB-kon series was developed especially for using the modules on DIN rails. All inputs and outputs are connected via screw terminals.
More modules are under development and will follow.
Software routines are revised
We revise our software routines, that are delivered with the modules and cards. The software for the windows versions for 32-bit addressbus are already available, the software for 64-bit windows will follow. The routines are for windows versions up to Windows10.
16-Bit D/A-converter-module for the system MDP (Order No. 559031)
Oktogon introduces a 16-bit D/A-converter-module for it's modular plugin-card system MDP. The new module has a maximum of two D/A-outputs per module. The output voltage range is set by jumpers. The module supports the ranges 0-10 Volts and +-10 Volts. With a resolution of 16-bit the output voltages are exactly adjustable.
DIO1624PCI (Order No. 551014)
This new designed PCI-card replaces our DIO1624 for the ISA-bus. It's plug- and software-compatible. Only the baseaddress will be assigned by the PCI-bios instead of beeing set by switches.
DC-motorcontroller (Order No. 559027)
This motorcontroller can be used for small electric motors with or without rotaryspeed generator. It controls a programmable direction and speed. Two positionswitches keep the maximum distance under surveillance.
DC/DC-powersupply module (Order No. 559029)
The module is used to supply additional electronic circuits, e.g. interfaces. It supplies +-15 Volt output voltage and up to 330mA current.
8-bit A/D-converter module (Order No. 559028)
The IC that is used on the existing 8-bit A/D-converter module isn't available anymore, so we did a redesign. The result is our new module. It's plugcompatible to the existing module.

Connectormodule transientsave (Order No. 559207)
A protection against overvoltage at the inputs of the 12-bit A/D-converter module (Orderno. 559008) can be achieved with this 50-pin module. It's usefull for unipolar as well as bipolar inputvoltage ranges.
We support the basketball youth in Mannheim
In a team of two companies we support in 2005 for the first time the basketball youth by sponsoring trikots for the youthteams of the SG-Basketball-Mannheim.
MDP-Basiscard for the PCI-bus
The MDP-Basiscard for the PCI-bus can carry up to four MDP-modules. It uses the same modules, that are used for the ISA-Basiscards. There are no changes due to changed connector pins or different programming.
12-bit D/A-converter redesigned (Order No. 559005)
The 12-bit D/A-converter module was redesigned. It has now in addition to the existing input-voltage-ranges the range of +-10 volts.

PIO30 - I/O-modules for the RS232 interface
The PIO30 modulseries is a decentralised I/O-system for the serial RS232 interface. Only one serial port of the hostcomputer is necessary to use the modules. The modules are connected to one common RS232-cable although meeting the RS232-specifications. Communication is done through an easy-to-use protocoll with checksum. The protocol is open, it can be used on all platforms that allow programming the serial interface.
PIO30-series was developed for the use of DIN-rails. All I/O-ports are placed on pluggable connecors and are galvanically separated from the serial port.
Outputmodules use a programmable timeout-procedure that allows setting predefined conditions if the communication to the host is lost.
Softwareroutines in Basic, Pascal and C/C++ support the programming of applicationsoftware. Available are modules with digital I/O-ports, relaymodules, A/D-modules and D/A-modules (resolution 12 bit).
A/D-Converter, 12 bit, serial interface (Order No. 571001)
If a laptop is used for the measurement of analog values, or the host computer should not be opened, an external device is the best choice. This is realized by this A/D-Converter. It offers eight input channels with 12 bit resolution and additional features. The measurement results are transmitted to the host through a serial interface. The programming is done by short ASCII commands.
DIO 2882 (Order No. 551011)
This universal plugin-card offers eight digital inputs, eight outputs, two counter inputs for rotary shaft encoders and two inputs for ultrasonic sensors for distance measurement. All inputs and outputs are galvanically separated from the PC. More than one DIO 2882 can be used at the same time in the PC.
Watchdog-Module (Order No. 559025)
The module has two timeout-ranges, that are programmable in 64 steps each. A reset of the PC is performed if the timer is not retriggered before it has reached its timeout value. An additional output "reset occured" can be used externally. A very useful feature of the module is the ability for software controlled debugging of the program. This enables the programmer to spread the triggerpoints throughout the program optimally without having to observe the program permanently.
FCU 2.5 Fuzzy-Construction Unit
The FCU is revised and supports now the development of fuzzy controllers for PLC of the S5-type. You find more information at the software-menue. A demoversion of the software can be downloaded there.
WinSPS Version 1.5
Very useful features have been added to WinSPS. Besides the existing program input as command list (AWL), you now can use function plan (FUP) and contact plan (KOP) too. A contact list and a crossreference list complete the features.
Stepmotor-module and Opto-Stepmotor-module
(Order No. 559013 and 559018)
The microcontroller originally used was cancelled by its manufacturer Hitachi and is therefore no more available. It is replaced by a fast microcontroller of Dallas. The obviously higher clock frequency in conjunction with optimized programming allows a maximum step frequency of 30 khz.
Compared with the so far reached 20 khz this is a very great improvement of the module's performance. The prices of the modules remain nevertheless unchanged.
